Former Cameroon international Alex Song has joined Russian side Rubin Kazan after his contract was cancelled by Barcelona.
The 28-year-old midfielder spent the last two seasons on loan at West Ham after joining Barca from Arsenal in 2012.
Rubin announced the signing with a statement on their official website which read: "Rubin signed a contract with 28-year-old midfielder Alex Song."
Song, who began his career at French club Bastia, last played for the Spanish champions in May 2014, making a total of 39 La Liga appearances during his time at the Nou Camp.
A Barcelona website statement added: "FC Barcelona and player Alex Song have reached an agreement to terminate the contract that bound the two parties.

Rubin also announced on Monday that they have signed a deal with 27-year-old Brazilian striker Jonathas Cristian de Jesus from Real Sociedad, who also confirmed the transfer.
