Joleon Lescott has left Aston Villa and joined AEK Athens on a two-year deal, the Greek Superleague club have announced.
Lescott, 34, joined Villa last summer, making 30 Premier League appearances as the club were relegated to the Championship.
The former England international won the Premier League twice with Manchester City, but had not featured for Villa this campaign under new manager Roberto Di Matteo.
