TOP STORY: United ready to pay £70m for Pickford
Manchester United are willing to edge close to the world-record to sign Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford if David De Gea decides not to commit his long-term future to the club, reports The Mirror.
A one-year extension in De Gea's contract was triggered this week which will ensure he remains at Old Trafford until the summer of 2020, unless sold beforehand. But the Spain No. 1 has demanded parity with the club's highest paid player Alexis Sanchez, and also wants reassurances about the long-term plans of the club, before committing to a new, improved contract, according to reports.
If the 28-year-old decides against signing a new deal at Old Trafford then The Mirror claim Pickford is their No. 1 target and they are will to pay out £70 million, which would be pretty close to a new world record fee for a goalkeeper by edging close to the £71.5m Chelsea paid for Kepa Arrizabalaga.

17.15 GMT: Alberto Moreno is yet to agree a new deal at Liverpool, and could leave as soon as January with Marseille and Sevilla interested, according to L'Equipe.
Moreno has been unable to win his place in the squad back from Andrew Robertson.
15.50 GMT: Bayern Munich forward Arjen Robben has announced that he will leave the club at the end of the season.
Robben joined from Real Madrid and infamously scored Bayern's winner in the 2013 UEFA Champions League final.
14.55 GMT: The Sun write that Bournemouth have made contact with Liverpool over a loan move for Dominic Solanke.
The striker has yet to make a Premier League appearance for Jurgen Klopp's side this season.
13.50 GMT: Former Ajax forward Ronald De Boer has urged current duo Matthijs de Ligt and Frenkie de Jong to ignore the advances of Manchester City and sign for Barcelona.
De Boer, who also played for Barca, told COPE via Sport that their philosophy would benefit them as players, but admitted that Guardiola's City would be the preferred alternative destination.
12.55 GMT: AC Milan are plotting moves for Chelsea's Cesc Fabregas and Barcelona's Denis Suarez, according to Calciomercato.
Fabregas said earlier this week that he would remain at Stamford Bridge until at least the end of the season.

"He's happy at Napoli and I haven't received any calls," he told Radio Marte, as reported by TuttoMercatoWeb. "I don't know if anyone has called Napoli, but I have a good relationship with the club and if anyone had, they would have told me."

Inter offer Ozil exit route
For a while now it has been claimed new Arsenal manager Unai Emery's relationship with Mesut Ozil is not as strong as it could be and today The Sun says Inter Milan may offer the Germany international a route out of the Gunners.
Last weekend Emery benched Ozil because he did not believe the player could cope with the physically demanding nature of coming up against Bournemouth.
Ozil's £350,000-a-week wages mean offloading the World Cup winner will not be easy and only a handful of sides in the world -- with the Serie A side being one of them -- that would be able to afford the star.
Real set to swoop for Ramsey
Another who is set to leave Arsenal is Aaron Ramsey and he could depart the Emirates earlier than next summer, when his contract expires, with Real Madrid set to make a move in January, if reports in The Mirror are to be believed.
Ramsey's contract offer from the Gunners was withdrawn and he is set to depart the club next summer when his current deal expires, after 10 years at the club.
But The Mirror claim he could leave six months earlier with the La Liga giants ready to reunite Ramsey with his Welsh teammate Gareth Bale.
The news will have gained the attention of Juventus and Bayern Munich, who are long-term admirers of the 27-year-old and also considering moves.
Clyne offered London return
Nathaniel Clyne has endured a real turn of fortune at Liverpool in the last 18 months and with his future looking like it may lie away from Anfield, he looks set to be offered a return home to London by Fulham, reports The Sun.
Clyne was the Reds' first choice right-back throughout the 2016-17 campaign but after missing most of last season with a back injury, he has yet to feature in the Premier League this time around, making the bench only twice.
The emergence of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez has limited the England international to just one EFL Cup outing and he is said to be desperate to secure regular first team football once more.
The Sun claims Clyne will have a big say in where his futures lies and with Fulham joining Cardiff City and Leicester City as potential suitors, he isn't short of offers.
Chelsea defender could be heading back to Germany
Another player who has gone from regular starter to outcast is Chelsea's Andreas Christensen and Borussia Monchengladbach are keen on being reunited with the Denmark international, according to the Express.
Christensen made 40 outings in all competitions last season, including 27 in the Premier League, whereas the arrival of Maurizio Sarri has seen him yet to feature in the league this season and has been restricted to just five Europa League outings and two in the EFL Cup.
Barcelona have already seen an approach for the talented 22-year-old rejected recently according to reports but that is unlikely to deter Monchengladbach's advances.
Christensen spent two seasons at the Bundesliga club, being named Player of the Season in his debut campaign, and the German club are keen to secure his services for the remainder of the 2018-19 campaign on loan.
AC Milan are another side keen for Christensen but Chelsea are understandably reluctant to lose such a talented young player permanently so a loan looks more likely.

The emergence of Andrew Robertson has meant Alberto Moreno has only made three appearances for Liverpool all season and will his contract up in the summer, he looks set to depart in 2019. Sevilla are interested in the Spaniard and Marseille have also emerged as a possible destination in the last week.
Danny Drinkwater to Fulham - 2.6
Claudio Ranieri has publicly refused to rule out reuniting with Danny Drinkwater -- one of his Premier League winners from Leicester. Drinkwater has not been in a Chelsea squad since the Community Shield and is likely to come on the cheap should he depart Stamford Bridge in January.
Gabriel Barbosa to West Ham - 2.5
Young Brazilian striker Gabriel Barbosa has found form once again on loan at Santos, after struggling at Inter Milan in recent seasons. West Ham, Everton and Crystal Palace are among the clubs keen on him and yesterday the Daily Mail reported quotes from the 22-year-old where he said he was open to a move to the Premier League.
Eder Militao to Chelsea - 2.3
Manchester United's interest in Porto defender Eder Militao is well known but Chelsea have also emerged as a fan of the 20-year-old. Militao has a £44m buyout clause which A Bola claim will have to be met if he is to depart, despite Porto only paying Sao Paulo around £4m for him in the summer.
