Peru have added Vancouver Whitecaps attacker Yordy Reyna to their squad for World Cup qualifiers against Argentina and Colombia.
Reyna, 24, hasn't played for Peru since 2015, but after providing three goals and three assists in MLS play last month, has now been called in for a pair of the country's biggest games in generations.
Peru, who have not qualified for the World Cup since 1982, occupy the fourth and final automatic World Cup spot in the CONMEBOL table ahead of the final two games.
They are level with fifth-placed Argentina on both points and goal difference, making Friday's clash in Buenos Aires critical.
Reyna replaces the injured Ivan Bulos of Portuguese club Boavista.
Peru also said forwards Jefferson Farfan and Raul Ruidiaz and defender Alberto Rodriguez would be available after undergoing medical checks, though local reports said Farfan was unlikely to face Argentina.
