Toronto FC will face the Vancouver Whitecaps in the Canadian Championship final after both teams advanced on aggregate from their respective semifinals on Wednesday.
Toronto beat the Ottawa Fury 3-0 in the second leg at BMO Field to advance 4-0 on aggregate.
Ayo Akinola scored in the 38th minute to give the hosts the advantage at half-time and Jordan Hamilton put matters to bed in the 76th minute.
Jonathan Osorio added one more for Toronto before full-time to send the defending champions back to the title game.
The Whitecaps rode goals from Yordy Reyna and Kei Kamara to overcome a 1-0 first-leg deficit to the Montreal Impact to reach the finals.
The two teams will meet on Aug. 8 in the first leg, with the winner earning a spot in the CONCACAF Champions League.
