Mexico defender Diego Reyes has joined Liga MX side Tigres UANL after six years playing European football.
Reyes traveled to Monterrey on Monday where he underwent medical tests ahead of finalizing his move to the Clausura 2019 champions.
Reyes, 26, joined Porto in 2013 after rising through the ranks of Club America. He was loaned by the Portuguese side to Spanish clubs Real Sociedad and Espanyol.
In 2018, he joined Turkish club Fenerbahce who subsequently loaned him to Leganes in 2019.
Reyes has been a steady presence of the Mexico national team with 62 international appearances. He was part of the goldmedal-winning squad at the 2012 Olympics in London, and has won two CONCACAF Gold Cup titles. He served as a substitute at the 2014 World Cup but an injury ruled him out in 2018.
