Manchester United's injury crisis has got worse as they will now be without nine sidelined players for Saturday's trip to Bournemouth.
Chris Smalling and Matteo Darmian have joined United's injury list, while Bastian Schweinsteiger begins a three-match ban.
The only good news for the Red Devils is that Morgan Schneiderlin, who suffered a hip problem in last week's 0-0 draw with West Ham, is available again.
However, Wayne Rooney, Ander Herrera and Phil Jones all remain out as Louis van Gaal will have to take a depleted squad to the Vitality Stadium.
"It is not so good because we have eight injured players because Darmian and also Smalling we can add to this list, and Schweinsteiger is also suspended, so nine players are not able to play," Van Gaal told MUTV.
"Schneiderlin is coming back that's not a problem but we have a list of eight players injured."
Darmian came off during the 3-2 Champions League loss to Wolfsburg on Tuesday with a hamstring problem and Smalling suffered a groin injury.
Van Gaal expects the duo, as well as Herrera, to be fit for next the home game against Norwich on Dec. 19.
"I believe Chris Smalling, Ander Herrera and Matteo Darmian will be back before Christmas," Van Gaal added.
Herrera has missed United's last four games with a hamstring injury, while Jones, who also came off in the 2-1 win at Watford, has had an ankle problem.
Rooney has missed United's last two games with an ankle problem that proved more serious than initially expected and his wait for his 500th appearance for the club will continue.
Marcos Rojo, meanwhile, underwent surgery on his dislocated shoulder this week and is set to be out until 2016.
And Luke Shaw and Antonio Valencia are long-term absentees with a broken leg and after undergoing foot surgery respectively.
"Rojo has been operated on this week and it takes a long time," Van Gaal added. "These injuries are very heavy -- Shaw and Valencia have also been operated on and that's our problem."
