Messi beats Ronaldo by 98, Haaland's record 75, Barcelona's first 0 in a decade: Stats

The weekend's footballing action saw plenty of thrilling upsets and goals, causing plenty of change in the standings. Liverpool's win saw their lead atop the Premier League extended as Manchester City suffered a shock loss and Arsenal dropped points, although Manchester United won. Barcelona also saw their winning run end against Sociedad in an away defeat, while Real Madrid dismantled Osasuna.

Serie A's title race is incredibly tight with the Top 6 separated by two points, thanks to Inter holding leaders Napoli to a 1-1 draw. Over in Germany, Bayern Munich extended their lead with a win as Leipzig dropped points against Gladbach. PSG also increased the gap to the chasing pack in Ligue 1 with a win, as Marseille lost.
