After being canceled last summer due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Little League World Series returned for 2021.

The kids from Michigan managed to eke out a nervy victory against the team from Ohio, winning the title 5-2. Jackson Surma was the difference-maker for Michigan, knocking in four runs on a single and a double. A champion was also crowned at the Little League Softball World Series in Greenville, NC as Oklahoma defeated Virginia 9-1.
