Utah Jazz forward Thabo Sefolosha's season is in jeopardy after he suffered an MCL injury that might require surgery, the Salt Lake Tribune reported Saturday.
Sefolosha suffered the injury to his right knee in Friday's 99-88 loss to the Charlotte Hornets. He is seeking additional medical opinions before a decision is made whether to have surgery, the Tribune reported.
The veteran forward is averaging 8.2 points per game this season, shooting 38 percent from 3-point range and 49 percent overall. He's also averaging 4.2 rebounds.
