LANDOVER, Md. -- Washington's Terry McLaurin had a quiet first half. He made up for it with one catch on the first drive of the second half.
After going without a catch in the first half, McLaurin caught two short passes on the first possession after the break. Then he made a highlight catch to put Washington in scoring position.
On the play, McLaurin drew an illegal contact penalty before quarterback Taylor Heinicke launched a deep ball down the right sideline. Safety Nasir Adderley raced over and jumped in front of McLaurin as the ball was coming down. But it went through his hands and McLaurin caught the ball and landed on his rear end, right before going out of bounds for a 34-yard gain.
