BALTIMORE -- The Baltimore Ravens had a chance to bring down Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase.
They didn't, and Chase made Baltimore pay in a big way.
Chase turned a short completion into the biggest play of the game -- an 82-yard touchdown to give the Bengals a 27-17 lead with 5:48 to go in the third quarter. The fifth-overall pick in the 2021 draft has continued his tear in his rookie season.
Yet again, Chase made history. According to ESPN Stats & Information, Chase has the most receiving yards by a player in his first seven games in NFL history, passing Harlon Hill's 685 yards.
After the touchdown reception, Chase had 727 receiving yards with more than a quarter remaining in Cincinnati's seventh game of the season.
He said he was going to break records.
