Social media reacts to Chiefs' Super Bowl 2023 win

The Kansas City Chiefs are world champions after defeating the Philadelphia Eagles, 38-35, in Super Bowl LVII.

It was one of the highest-scoring Super Bowls in history with both Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes putting up big plays. Hurts became the third QB to throw for 300 yards and rush for 50 in a Super Bowl. Mahomes was named the game's MVP.

Mahomes, battling an ankle injury, was efficient and got help from Isiah Pacheco and Kadarius Toney as well as a defensive score from Nick Bolton on a fumble recovery.

The Chiefs' winning drive was partially decided by a defensive holding call that allowed Kansas City to run down the clock before the game-winning field goal. That caused a huge stir on social media as the game ended.

Penalty disapproval

It was a historic Super Bowl that came down to the wire. Social media lit up with fans and celebrities enjoying the game.
