Police find Justin Vincent's rings

Police found a Super Bowl ring and three LSU Tigers rings during a homicide investigation in Baton Rouge, La., on Wednesday.

The rings belong to former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Justin Vincent, who said the rings were "stolen from a friend who was going to put them in a safety deposit box," according to a report in the (New Orleans) Times-Picayune. The rings, estimated to be worth $45,000, were reported missing earlier Wednesday.

Besides the Super Bowl ring, Vincent's 2004 LSU National Championship ring, 2005 Peach Bowl ring and 2007 Sugar Bowl ring were also taken.

Police suspect Baton Rouge resident Courtney Henderson, who was hired to clean the house, of stealing the rings, an affidavit says. Henderson was arrested on suspicion of illegally possessing stolen things, as well as possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm with controlled substances.

Henderson believed she could take the rings because the house's residents were packing to move and "the house was mostly cleaned out," she said, according to the affidavit.
