Los Angeles Sparks guard Sydney Wiese posted on Twitter that she tested positive for COVID-19.
Wiese said that she was "feeling well -- fortunate to only show mild symptoms, but I am capable of spreading it.'' She was playing overseas in Spain before testing positive and is now self-isolating at home in Phoenix, according to a release from the team.
Wiese said the symptoms she experienced were a loss of smell and taste. She also encouraged others to practice social distancing.
The reality is we are all capable of carrying the virus and capable of spreading it. Social distancing, isolating, washing hands, being overly cautious is what's best right now.. not just for ourselves, but for OTHERS
