Adelaide
Stocks up: The Crows booted the last seven goals of the game to stun St Kilda and claim a miraculous come-from-behind win. But it was the last of those goals -- an over-the-head kick from youngster Riley Thilthorpe -- that ultimately made Saints fans realise they were about to lose the unlosable. Thilthorpe ended the game with three majors and made his presence felt in the second-half fightback.

Stocks down: Scoreless in the first quarter and goalless until the 18-minute mark of the second - regardless of Saturday night's result, that is not a winning formula. Matthew Nicks would've been revelling with his players post-game, but he'll be quick to rectify that horrid first half of footy.

Collingwood
Stocks up: It's rare that a coach leaves midway through the season having just won back-to-back games, the second of which against the ladder leaders. Nathan Buckley desveres credit for what he's been able to do at the Magpies, and we're confident we haven't seen the last of him in the coaches' box.
Stocks down: Young Trent Bianco tallied just seven disposals in the win over the Demons, but only two of them actually hit the target. Does he stay in the side for next week?
Essendon

Stocks up: There's a lot to like about young Dockers key forward Josh Treacy. With no Matt Taberner, the 'Big Cohuna' led the forward line for Fremantle on Saturday afternoon, clunking seven marks (two contested) and kicking two goals, three behinds. We really like the look of this guy!
Stocks down: Mitch Crowden had a night to forget. The 33-gamer had just four touches for 19 metres gained from his 68 percent game time and was inneffectual throughout the contest.
Geelong
Stocks up: We all knew Jeremy Cameron was an elite pick-up for the Cats, but he's quickly becoming the most important player on the team, after another five-goal outing against the Power on Thursday night. His 23 goals in just seven games easily gives him the best strike rate in the competition.
Stocks down: He's a premiership player, but right now Luke Dahlhaus needs a spell on the pine. The former Bulldog failed to have any real impact against Port, amassing just three kicks and was unable to hit the scoreboard. It's his third game out of the last four he's had just eight touches or fewer...
Gold Coast
Stocks up: Touk Miller just continues to deliver and his stocks are at an all-time high right now. Against the Dockers, Miller tallied 31 disposals, seven clearances, seven inside 50s six tackles and one of the most remarkable goals you're likely to see in 2021.
Stocks down: He's just a young fella but Malcolm Rosas will want to quickly move on from his game in Perth. Just two touches at zero disposal efficency, but it was a dropped mark 30m out from goal in the final term, when the Suns were coming, which was most costly.
GWS
Stocks up: Star midfielder Josh Kelly did everything he could to will his Giants over the line. In fact, we don't think he could have done much more; 39 disposals, eight inside 50s and two goals was a complete performance.
Stocks down: He was nearly the hero who stole the four points, but as clutch as Daniel Lloyd was in nailing two late goals to put the Giants in a winning position, there's no doubt he would want his last shot -- which sailed wide and out on the full -- taken all over again. We get it, it was as tight an angle as you can have kicking on the run, but he also had Jeremy Finlayson as a glaring option short had he lowered his eyes!
Hawthorn
Stocks up: Less than two weeks ago Jai Newcombe was playing VFL footy. On Friday night, the mid-season draftee and midfield bull laid the most tackles (14) by a debutant in VFL/AFL history and did not look off the pace at all. The Hawks have found a serious gem!
Stocks down: You know what? It's hard to find someone who's stocks have plummeted following a monumental win like that, but Tim O'Brien needs to start holding onto his marks more consistently. He competes well for a big man but seems to always be an inch away from mark of the week... every week.
Melbourne
Stocks up: There was little to get excited about from a Melbourne perspective. Let's face it, this was a very disappointing loss for a side which has genuine premiership aspirations...
Stocks down: Charlie Spargo looks lost in Melbourne's forward line. Against the Magpies, Spargo was consistenly outmarked and failed to have any real contribution. Just eight touches and one tackle isn't likely to be enough to keep you in this impressive side.
North Melbourne
Stocks up: Isn't Tarryn Thomas turning into something special? The 21-year-old put on a show in his native Tasmania, picking up 19 disposals and kicking two classy goals to make it nine goals from his last five games. Special mention to the veteran Ben Cunnington who keeps adding things to his trick bag; another 25 touches and two goals(!) from the champ.

Stocks down: He was everywhere on Sunday and continues to improve, but Jy Simpkin would love his time again deep in defence with time running out in the fourth quarter. His clearing kick went out on the full, the Giants were able to get men forward and Daniel Lloyd snagged a mark that would lead to the game-tying goal. Talk about split-second moments in games!
Port Adelaide
Stocks up: His form has been horrible in 2021 but Port young gun Connor Rozee put on a first quarter clinic against the Cats at Adelaide Oval. Rozee booted four goals in the first term, ultimately finishing the game with five majors, and maybe, just maybe he's rediscovered that spark.
Stocks down: It was a real shame that Todd Marshall was subbed out with concussion in the first quarter as it meant the Power lost much of its forward structure. As a result Geelong's Jack Henry and Tom Stewart were able to mop up much Port's attempted attacks.
Richmond
Stocks up: This is just about the time when Dustin Martin starts to get going in most seasons, and he gave West Coast fans plenty to be nervous about throughout Sunday night's thriller at Optus Stadium. Two of the classier goals you'll see (including an awesome sharked rover's goal early in the fourth), 23 touches and six clearances for Dusty.
Stocks down: Would Jason Castagna like his time again with just over a minute remaining in the game? The Tigers, two points up, were bursting forward - ball in Dusty's hands. The champ chipped a kick forward to Castagna who had time to gather, but with two runners on the outside, Castagna instead turns inside, and his meek, left foot (and selfish) shot at goal falls straight into the waiting arms of Shannon Hurn. From there, the Eagles 'did a 2018 Grand Final' and went arc to arc without being touched, and JJK kicked the sealer.
St Kilda
Stocks up: It was a big night for Brad Crouch against his former club; the hard-nosed midfielder tallied 36 disposals, five clearances and a goal for the Saints in their loss to the Crows.
Stocks down: It's almost hard to know where to begin for St Kilda after Saturday night's performance. We know the fans are as frustrated as they've been for a long time, so let's just leave it at that, shall we?
Sydney
Stocks up: Sometimes you just have to sit back and applaud veteran Josh Kennedy. The Swans skipper signed a one-year extension during the week and doesn't look like slowing down anytime soon, collecting 27 disposals, seven marks and eight tackles against the Hawks in yet another customary, admirable performance.
Stocks down: Sydney was beaten in almost every facet of the game, but there was a significant lack of spark after quarter time. Isaac Heeney and Tom Papley are two that we'll single out here, the duo uncharacteristically combining for just one major and evidently lacking the urgency that top eight sides and their match-winners should be possessing.
West Coast
Stocks up: He's 33 years of age, but Josh Kennedy is still a match-winner for West Coast. The spearhead kicked four goals -- including the match-winning snap from the boundary with a minute left -- to stun the Tigers and keep the Eagles' hopes of a meaningful season on track.
Stocks down: If one key forward's on song and kicking match-winners, it doesn't matter if another has a quiet night out. Jack Darling was held scoreless and to just seven touches despite never leaving the field of play. He also has a strange moment where he seemed to throw his head back after a tackle - trying to milk a free kick, perhaps?
Western Bulldogs
