Rob Gronkowski on NFL targeting him with OPI calls: 'Agree'

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Is the NFL targeting New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski when it comes to offensive pass interference penalties? Gronkowski shared his thoughts in one word Tuesday morning on Twitter.

Gronkowski was penalized twice for offensive pass interference in Sunday night's loss to the Denver Broncos, one of which was offsetting. Including declined and offsetting penalties, Gronkowski has been called for a league-high six offensive pass interference infractions this season.

The OPI calls have generated plenty of discussion on local airwaves.

When radio station 98.5 The Sports Hub tweeted a link to audio of a segment that declared the NFL was targeting Gronkowski, the tight end himself chimed in with his above response on Twitter.

A film study of all six OPI calls was posted Monday, with a closer look at what went into the calls and if they were warranted.
