Olympics: India sent a letter of intent to the IOC, to host the 2036 Olympics and Paralympics.
PKL: Jaipur Pink Panthers edged past UP Yoddhas while U Mumba beat Dabang Delhi.
Football: Sandesh Jhingan made his return to the national team after injury, while there were also maiden call-ups for Irfan Yadwad and Jithin MS.
Hockey: The Hockey India League schedule was announced, for the inaugural season.
