"Kick his ass, Sea Bass!" is not something you'd expect a fan on the street to yell at a Hockey Hall of Famer and current NHL team president. Unless, of course, that person is Bruins legend Cam Neely.
Twenty years after Neely's cameo as an intimidating diner patron in "Dumb and Dumber," the Farrelly brothers confirmed to ESPN that Sea Bass will make a return in the film's sequel (in theaters starting now), but added that you should stay through the end credits to see him.
Seabass said that?

The origin of the Sea Bass nickname? Peter Farrelly says he overheard it shouted in a bar on Cape Cod. "I remember a guy holding up a drink and he said, 'Sea Bass, you want another beer?' I thought it was one of the funniest nicknames I'd ever heard, so I wrote it down."
Back in the 1980s, the Farrelly brothers knew Neely through a series of coincidental connections. Peter Farrelly roomed with Woody Harrelson and, Michael J. Fox - who became friends with Harrelson because of the adjacency of the "Family Ties" and "Cheers" sets - would come over to their apartment with his fellow British Columbian, Neely.
As the brothers were developing the character, Bobby Farrelly referenced casting a big, bruising "Cam Neely-type." Then they thought, why not just get him?
He had never acted before, but we can't imagine anyone else hocking a loogie into Harry's burger.
