Fernando Alonso insists he is fully committed to McLaren until the end of his career and has clarified the radio comments he made about Honda's "embarrassing" power unit at the Japanese Grand Prix.
Alonso was rebuked by McLaren CEO Ron Dennis after Honda's home race at Suzuka, where he took to the radio to launch an astonishing series of one-liners against the team's engine supplier. The Spaniard had been upset by his car's inability to fight with other cars down the straights due to Honda's ongoing problems with power deployment.
In the hours after the race Alonso said he still intends to see out his career with McLaren, with his current contract valid until the end of 2017. The Spaniard said he hopes his career ends when he and McLaren are "winning everything", while he also acknowledged his radio complains should have been limited to "private chats".

2/3. When we are fighting in group is difficult, we all want to win, and sometimes transmit the team radios, but it should be private chats.

3/3. No one should have any doubt that I have 3 years with McLaren and my career in F1 will end with this team, hopefully winning everything

Very simple. So now a few days off and Russia will be another race to keep closing the gap to the top!
