Pirelli has announced its tyre compound choices for the final four races of the 2015 season, with soft and medium tyres for the returning Mexican Grand Prix.
Mexico, back on the calendar for the first time since 1992 and set to be held a week after the United States Grand Prix, which will also have the soft-medium combination. Organisers of the Mexican Grand Prix expect the November 1 race to be the second-quickest on the calendar behind Monza and Pirelli says "simulation data has indicated [soft-medium] will be the best choice" for the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriquez.
Pirelli is hoping to see a two- or three-stop race at the Brazilian Grand Prix on November 15, which it will return to with the soft-medium combination as it did in 2014. Abu Dhabi also gets the same choice as last year, with the softest tyres in Pirelli's range (soft and super-soft) being brought to the season finale on November 27.
