Felipe Nasr was penalised three grid places for impeding Felipe Massa in Q1 during qualifying for the Brazilian Grand Prix.
Massa had to run wide when he came across Nasr moving slowly on the exit of Murgulho, ruining his lap. Massa was able to improve on his next lap to ensure a place in Q2 and went on to qualify eighth, but the stewards felt Nasr's action warranted a penalty.
Once Daniel Ricciardo's grid penalty is also factored in, Nasr is expected to drop to 13th on the grid for his home race. He was also hit with the first two penalty points of his F1 career.
