Manor has confirmed its 2016 challenger has completed the mandatory FIA crash tests ahead of the new season.

On the same day it confirmed former Ferrari designer Nikolas Tombazis as chief aerodynamicist, Manor revealed its new chassis had been fully homologated. The crash test is the final stage needed before teams can carry out winter testing, which begins in Barcelona on February 22.

The upcoming season will be Manor's first with Mercedes power. It ran a year-old Ferrari engine after its remarkable recovery from administration in 2015 but spent the entire season at the rear of the pack.

Manor is still yet to confirm either driver for the upcoming season.
