McLaren has fired up its new, revised Honda engine for the first time at its factory in Woking.

The team released a short audio clip via Twitter of the sound of the V6 turbo starting up.

The new MP4-31 will be launched online on February 21 before hitting the track for the first day of pre-season testing on February 22. McLaren has high hopes for Honda's new power unit, which has been reworked to incorporate a larger turbo and revised MGU-H to help slash the power deficit to its rivals.
