Jenson Button switches back to old helmet colours

Kalisz/Sutton

Jenson Button will revert to his original helmet colours for the 2016 season after putting the design of his helmet to a public vote.

Button used an all-new red and white design last year, but will swap back to the colours of the British flag he last used in 2013. A public vote on Twitter saw 71% of his fans opting for the original helmet design.

Here we are ladies and gentlemen, my new old helmet livery for 2016! #JB22 Hope you like it because you chose it! 😁

In 2014 he wore a predominantly pink helmet in memory of his father and in his championship-winning year of 2009 he wore a bright yellow and black design to match the colours of his Brawn GP car.
