Nico Rosberg has released on-board footage of one of the first laps of Mercedes' new W07 F1 car.
Mercedes completed a filming day at Silverstone on Friday, racking up 98.2km in the new car with Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton taking turns behind the wheel. The car carries the hopes of the reigning champions in 2016 and is due to be officially launched on Monday in the Circuit de Catalunya pit lane.
Early images suggest the nose and wings are similar to last year's car, but another tweet from Rosberg revealed a much larger airbox above the driver's head. The rear of the car also appears to have been reworked to better package Mercedes' updated V6 turbo engine and energy recovery system.
