Force India has unveiled its 2016 car for the first time in the Barcelona pit lane.
The team was one of the few to have released nothing to the media in terms of imagery of its new challenger and instead opted for a simple unveiling in the Barcelona pit lane on Monday morning. The VJM09 retains the same livery and striking nose design as its predecessor, though there have been small tweaks made to the chassis elsewhere.
Regular drivers Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez took the covers off the car in the morning. Last year Force India delayed the introduction of its new car until the third and final test, so unveiling the 2016 on the first day this year will be a boost for the team.
Development driver Alfonso Celis will drive the car on Monday and Tuesday in Barcelona before handing over to the team's regular drivers.
