Renault has taken the covers off its 2016 Formula One car, the RS16.
Renault returns to the grid this year as a full constructor and after a team launch event in Paris, showed its new car off for the first time in the pit lane at the Circuit de Catalunya. The car is based around last year's Lotus, but has had to be significantly modified to cope with the switch from Mercedes power to Renault.
The team is keeping its expectations in check in its first year, with a five-year plan in place to return to the top. The technical team is now headed up by former Mercedes technical director Bob Bell, who was also at Renault during its championship-winning years in the mid 2000s.
Jolyon Palmer drove the car on its debut on Monday, with Kevin Magnussen due get his first drive in the car later this week.
