Pirelli will bring the softest tyres in its range to the Austrian Grand Prix on July 3.
The 2016 tyre regulations have been a popular change to proceedings this year, giving teams the choice of three compounds rather than two over a race weekend. In Austria Pirelli will supply the teams with the soft, super-soft and ultra-soft tyre.
Drivers and teams have the freedom to select 10 of the 13 compounds available. The other three sets are set aside by Pirelli, with the softest tyre (in this case the ultra-soft) set aside for Q3 and one each of the other tyres nominated for the race, one of which must be used on the Sunday.
It will be the third time in four races Pirelli brings the softest compounds to a race, which it is also doing for Monaco and Canada. Azerbaijan's debut race on June 19 will feature the medium, soft and super-soft compounds.

The purple-striped ultra-soft tyre is a new compound and will debut in Monaco. It had limited running during winter testing but has yet to be tested on a suitable circuit.
