Bulls injury update: Pau Gasol (knee) is out for tonight's game against Brooklyn. Meanwhile, Taj Gibson (hamstring) is questionable, and Jimmy Butler (knee) and Derrick Rose (groin) are both considered probable. Expect Nikola Mirotic and Bobby Portis to pick up a lot of the playing time tonight, especially if Gibson doesn't play. And Doug McDermott, who has averaged 24.5 points over the last two games, is another low-priced forward with upside against Brooklyn's 28th-ranked defense.

Randolph still sidelined: The knee injury that has kept Zach Randolph out of the lineup will cost him at least one more game. Randolph won't suit up for Memphis tonight against Milwaukee, and it will be the seventh game in a row he has missed. JaMychal Green is the main beneficiary of minutes while Randolph sits, but another player to look at is Jarell Martin. The 2015 first-rounder out of Tennessee has averaged 12.2 points and 5.6 rebounds in 23.4 minutes over the last five games. Without Randolph, Marc Gasol and Mike Conley, the burden falls on players like Matt Barnes and Lance Stephenson to carry the scoring load for the undermanned Grizzlies.

Faried iffy: Denver power forward Kenneth Faried (back) is questionable to play against Atlanta. He logged only 15 minutes last game, and if he can't play look at veteran Darrell Arthur as a solid value play in DFS. Hawks power forward Paul Millsap also becomes a better option if Faried is sidelined.

Undermanned Raptors: Jonas Valanciunas (hand) is doubtful for tonight's game against Indiana, so it's a good night to queue up Bismack Biyombo as a bargain priced center in DFS. On top of that, there are reports that Kyle Lowry could be rested against the Pacers tonight or against Boston tomorrow. Be aware of that before rostering the Raptors star point guard.
