Dimitri Payet is unlikely to leave West Ham this summer and certainly not for anything less than £50 million, says the club's co-owner David Gold.
Payet scored three times for France at Euro 2016 and was named among the team of the tournament.
And after scoring 12 goals in all competitions for West Ham last year, the 29-year-old has reportedly attracted attention from the like of Real Madrid.
But Gold said on BBC Radio on Monday that West Ham are unlikely to sell their star player.
"The super clubs would come after a player of his ability," Gold said. "And of course we wouldn't even listen to any offer under £50m, and even then, as I said, we need to keep our best players.
"To be absolutely honest with you, we just don't welcome any offers at all for Dimitri.
"He is instrumental, he's important to us, the team is built 'round him. I would say to you he's not for sale."
With the opportunity to play in the Champions League elsewhere, Payet could always look for a move away from West Ham, but Gold said he was confident the player was happy with the Hammers.
"You make him as happy as you can. He has a great relationship with the manager which is very, very important to a player," Gold said. "He's settled in London with his family, the fans adore him, and we're going to the Olympic Stadium.
"So we've done everything we possibly could do and I'm hoping that that will be enough."
