AC Milan goalkeeper Marco Amelia has denied coming to blows with teammate Daniele Bonera at the opening of the club's new headquarters last week.

Amelia, whose contract expires at the end of next month, and who seems unlikely to be offered a new deal following the signing of Michael Agazzi, is reported to have taken exception to his teammate's reluctance to sign autographs.
The pair exchanged insults, but Amelia says it was nothing more than that.
"I want to clarify and close the argument which everybody's talking about today," Amelia said on his Facebook page.

"There was a discussion on the bus for the simple reason that I had invited the whole team to get off to greet the fans but some didn't want to, even if in the end they did all get off as it was only right to do so."
Amelia made just five appearances all season, playing second fiddle to Christian Abbiati. It had been reported that his anger was aimed at those players who had featured more regularly this season, but did not want to get off the bus to meet with the fans whereas he, Gabriel and Stephan El Shaarawy had stopped willingly.
"Let's not write things which didn't happen, but above all don't start motivating things in a ridiculous manner," Amelia, 32, said. "I have always been pro Milan.
"I'd like to take this opportunity to thank AC Milan and everybody who works at the club for these unforgettable four years and thank the fans in particular because they never stopped backing me, even in the most difficult times."
