Nikica Jelavic has retired from international duty after winning 36 caps for Croatia.
The Hull City striker, 29, was not satisfied with his role in the squad, according to a statement on the Croatian Football Federation's official website.

Croatia boss Niko Kovac said: "I have to admit that Jelavic surprised me, and I am sorry to hear about his decision.
"Of course I will accept it, and thank him for everything he has done for Croatia. I wish him all the best in life, including his club career."
Jelavic, whose previous clubs included Rangers and Everton, scored six goals for his country.
