French league leaders Lyon were handed another injury blow on Monday when key defender Milan Bisevac was ruled out until the end of the season with a serious knee injury.
The Serbian limped off the pitch in Sunday's 0-0 draw at Monaco after injuring his right knee.
He underwent scans that revealed an anterior cruciate ligament tear, Lyon said in a statement.
Bisevac will undergo surgery later this week and will be unavailable for six months.
Bisevac's injury comes after striker Alexandre Lacazette, the league's top scorer, picked up a thigh injury that will sideline him until the end of February, meaning he will miss Sunday's crucial Ligue 1 game against Paris Saint-Germain.
