U.S. internationals Joe Corona, Greg Garza and Edgar Castillo all changed clubs in Mexico on Wednesday before the Liga MX's domestic transfer deadline.
Midfielder Corona switched from Club Tijuana to Veracruz on loan, while left back Garza also left Tijuana on loan to Atlas to replace fellow left back Castillo, who moved to Monterrey on a permanent deal.
Both Corona and Garza were named on Wednesday in the United States' preliminary 35-player squad for the Gold Cup.
American Jonathan Bornstein earned a permanent deal with last season's runner-up Queretaro, while Michael Orozco -- also in the U.S. Gold Cup squad -- was signed by Puebla, where he played last season.
There was no news of transfers from Herculez Gomez (who belongs to Club Tijuana and was on loan at Puebla last season) or Gabriel Farfan (Chiapas).
The highest-profile deal of the day took Mexico international winger Jurgen Damm from Pachuca to Tigres for a reported $8 million, with Club America confirming the transfer of El Tri midfielder Javier Guemez from Club Tijuana.
Chivas purchased 50 percent of the rights of World Cup 2014 veteran Alan Pulido from Tigres, but the striker's future remains uncertain with a resolution to his contract dispute with Tigres still pending.
Overall, a total of $56 million US dollars were spent over the 35 permanent transfers, with just under $10 million splashed out by clubs on 77 loans.
Liga MX teams can no longer trade players ahead of the Apertura 2015 season, although they can still bring players in from abroad.
