Alexander Meier tops Power Rankings following hat trick vs. Wolfsburg

1. Alexander Meier (Eintracht Frankfurt)

Meier returned to action on Sunday after the Bundesliga's five-week winter break and immediately kick-started his campaign to be a surprise inclusion in Germany's squad for Euro 2016. The 33-year-old striker scored all three goals in Eintracht Frankfurt's 3-2 win over Wolfsburg, with the decisive finish arriving three minutes into stoppage time.

2. Roberto Firmino (Liverpool)

Is Firmino beginning to adjust to life in England? After registering two goals and an assist in Liverpool's wild 5-4 win at Norwich on Saturday, the Brazilian has notched four goals and an assist in his past three games. Prior to that point, he had tallied a solitary goal and four assists all season.

3. Antonio Sanabria (Sporting Gijon)

Sanabria's hat trick vs. Real Sociedad in Sporting's 5-1 win on Friday briefly lifted the Asturian side out of the relegation zone, but not for long. They may be mired in 19th place, but the club is now just one point from safety and four behind 13th-placed Espanyol. With nine goals from 14 La Liga appearances, 19-year-old Sanabria has proven himself quite valuable since his loan from Roma.

4. Angel Di Maria (Paris Saint-Germain)

A season after receding into the periphery at Manchester United, Di Maria has proven a model of consistency in PSG's runaway Ligue 1 campaign. The Argentine scored a brace in Les Parisiens' 5-1 rout of Angers on Saturday, bringing his season total to eight goals and nine assists in 16 league appearances.

5. Dele Alli (Tottenham)

Tottenham's 3-1 win at Crystal Palace on Saturday sent the North London side five points clear of fifth-placed Manchester United, and it was Alli who stole the show once again. The former MK Dons prodigy scored a strong contender for goal of the season, chipped in with an assist and hit the woodwork for good measure. And the midfielder won't turn 20 until April.

6. Enner Valencia (West Ham)

If it weren't for a pair of equalisers from Sergio Aguero (who himself received a couple of votes to make this list), Valencia's double would have earned West Ham a famous win over Manchester City. The Ecuadorian opened the scoring less than a minute into Saturday's 2-2 draw and put the hosts in front once more on 56 minutes, only for City's No. 10 to snatch a point from the Hammers.

7. Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich)

While Bayern Munich shook off the rust from their winter break, Lewandowski looked sharp straight from the off in their 2-1 win over Hamburg on Friday. The Pole struck from the penalty spot after 37 minutes and netted the Bavarians' winner in the 61st minute. Bayern's No. 9 now has 17 goals in 17 Bundesliga appearances.
