Tigres striker Andre-Pierre Gignac underlined his status as Liga MX's star performer with a hat-trick on Saturday.
The French superstar tormented Leon and his performance sealed his place at the top of the rankings this week.

1. Andre-Pierre Gignac, FW, Tigres
Gignac was clearly the highlight of Week 4, with the striker scoring three times for Tigres in Saturday's 3-1 home win over Leon. With four goals for the tournament, the 30-year-old is currently the league's leading scorer.
2. Bryan Rabello, MF, Santos Laguna
What more could you ask of the young Chilean? Rabello stepped up in his attacking midfielder role and provided both of the goals in Santos Laguna's 2-0 win over Queretaro on Friday. After going the entire 2015 Apertura without a victory at home, Los Guerreros are a streak of two successive wins at the Estadio Corona.
3. Rafael Sobis, FW, Tigres
Gignac's goals were noteworthy but Sobis' workrate alongside the French striker was just as impressive. The Brazilian provided the last two assists in Tigres' victory and was vital with his opportunities created going forward.
4. Pablo Aguilar, DF, America
Aguilar was near-perfect for America with his goal and assist in Saturday night's 3-0 away win over Dorados. With plenty of defensive work as well through several clearances and interceptions, the Paraguayan was easily the man of the match for Las Aguilas in Week 4.
5. Aldo Leao Ramirez, MF, Cruz Azul
Thanks to Ramirez, 10-man Cruz Azul -- who had Francisco Rodriguez sent off -- secured a 2-1 victory against Chiapas. The 34-year-old Colombian created the assist for the first goal of the night and later secured the game-winner through an impressive close-range volley.
6. Juan Pablo Rodriguez, MF, Morelia
Rodriguez not only played a crucial role in Morelia's midfield on Saturday, but also made the game safe in the 2-0 win against Chivas. The Mexican caught Chivas goalkeeper Rodolfo Cota off-guard and scored a beautifully placed chip from about 30 yards after 50 minutes.
7. Osvaldo Martinez, MF, America
America's other key player from the weekend. The Paraguayan was the main distributor of the ball in the midfield and walked away from the victory over Dorados with a goal and an assist.
8. Rodolfo Pizarro, MF, Pachuca
In a match filled with many excellent individual performances from Pachuca, Pizarro stood out. The 21-year-old Mexican surely grabbed the attention of Mexico manager Juan Carlos Osorio after scoring Los Tuzos' final goal in the 3-1 win over Monterrey.
9. Oscar Ustari, GK, Atlas
Ustari was in fine form on Saturday night. The Argentine goalkeeper saved a late penalty from Eduardo Herrera but unfortunately for Ustari and Atlas, Pumas scored a last second equalizer during injury time. Replays showed Fidel Martinez's should have been called offside.
10. Juninho, MF, Tijuana
In his first league start for Tijuana, Brazilian Juninho scored Xolos' first goal in the 2-2 away draw against Veracruz. After going down to 10 men in the sixth minute when Leiton Jimenez Romero was sent off, 27-year-old Juninho helped control the Tijuana midfield and kept Veracruz scoreless in the second half.
