Leonardo Bonucci's agent visits Man City; Benteke, Skrtel out at Liverpool

With the summer transfer window once more upon us, rumours are picking up steam. As always, Transfer Talk has its finger on the pulse when it comes to the latest gossip. See the latest deals here.

TOP STORY: Bonucci's agent visits Manchester City

Leonardo Bonucci's agent is in England to discuss a move to Manchester City, but Juventus don't want to sell and it could take a bid in excess of £50 million to complete the deal, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

A new defender is high on Pep Guardiola's list of priorities this summer and the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager labelled Bonucci "one of my favourite ever players" following a Champions League tie against Juventus in February.

The Sun adds that despite interest from Chelsea, Italy international Bonucci won't be having a reunion with Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge as the former Juventus boss agreed not to approach players from his ex-employer.

Benteke, Skrtel part of Liverpool squad clearout

Liverpool could earn up to £100m in transfer fees this summer as Jurgen Klopp prepares to sanction the sales of eight players including Christian Benteke, Mario Balotelli and Martin Skrtel in an effort to streamline a bloated squad ahead of a campaign without European football.

The Mirror reports Benteke is wanted by Crystal Palace, Balotelli could remain in Italy after a season on loan at AC Milan and Fenerbahce are close to signing Skrtel in a £5.5m deal.

Meanwhile, Sevilla want Joe Allen and Luis Alberto, Besiktas are targeting Lucas, Bournemouth are set to sign Jordon Ibe for £15m and Norwich are hoping to agree a £2.5m deal for Sergi Canos.

Chelsea still want Nainggolan

Chelsea are determined to add Radja Nainggolan to their growing Belgian contingent and will make a fourth offer for the midfielder, even though he has pledged his future to Roma, the Mail claims.

Roma turned down a £33m bid for the 28-year-old last month, and although Axel Witsel, another Belgium international, could present an alternative option for the Blues, it is Nainggolan who is their top target.

Nemanja Matic is understood to be on the verge of a £17m move to Juventus and Antonio Conte has earmarked Nainggolan as the man he wants to bring to the club in his place.

Tap-Ins

- The Mirror reports Manchester City are hopeful of beating Manchester United to the £8m signing of 19-year-old Atletico Nacional winger Marlos Moreno after being impressed with his displays for Colombia during the Copa America Centenario. Moreno started one game and came off the bench three times, scoring against Costa Rica as Colombia finished third.

- Liverpool could make a surprise move to sign Poland midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski from Borussia Dortmund, according to the Mail. The 30-year-old won two Bundesliga titles and reached the 2013 Champions League final under Jurgen Klopp but spent last season on loan to Fiorentina following the manager's departure.

- Another Borussia Dortmund player that could be on the move is Neven Subotic, who has held talks with ambitious Premier League new boys Middlesbrough, the Northern Echo reports. Subotic could cost £8m and would follow Victor Valdes in linking up with Aitor Karanka's squad ahead of the new season.

- A late attempt from West Ham to hijack Tottenham's move for Vincent Janssen has failed, the Mirror claims, and the 21-year-old AZ Alkmaar striker will complete a £17m move to White Hart Lane after also turning down the opportunity to join Paris Saint-Germain. The Hammers offered the Dutchman a bigger wage but he was insistent on linking up with Spurs.
