Sandro set for West Brom loan from Queens Park Rangers - sources

West Bromwich Albion have agreed a deal to sign Queens Park Rangers midfielder Sandro on loan, sources have told ESPN FC.

West Brom boss Tony Pulis has lined up a deal for Sandro to bolster his midfield options after losing Darren Fletcher and James Morrison to injuries recently.

QPR are willing to let Sandro leave as they look to trim their squad and reduce their wage bill and the Brazilian is keen to return to the Premier League.

Former Tottenham star Sandro has not featured for QPR since late December, and was linked with Sunderland earlier in the window.

However, West Brom have moved quickly to agree a loan deal with QPR and the player has been given permission to travel to The Hawthorns for talks and a medical.

If Sandro seals his move to West Brom he will become their first signing of this month's transfer window.
