Sunday evening's top-flight game between Vietnamese sides Ho Chi Minh City and visitors Long An FC ground to a halt after the away team staged a bizarre on-field protest.
After conceding a soft penalty in the 90th minute with the score level at 2-2, the Long An players decided en masse to boycott the rest of the match.
Indeed, goalkeeper Minh Nhut Nguyen even turned his back as the penalty kick was successfully dispatched.
The demonstration continued after the restart as Long An simply refused to engage with Ho Chi Minh, and the ball was walked into the Long An empty net twice in quick succession.
As such, Ho Chi Minh ran out 5-2 winners when the referee eventually brought the farcical match to an end in the 93rd minute.
Unsurprisingly, Long An remain rock bottom of the V.League 1 as a result.
