Lincoln tidy up after themselves after FA Cup defeat to Arsenal

Lincoln City may have seen their glorious FA Cup run end with a rather heavy defeat against Arsenal, but that didn't mean the National League side were about to forget their manners.

Indeed, after Saturday's 5-0 defeat at the Emirates, the Imps took great care to leave their dressing room in the same immaculate state in which they found it.

Despite being exhausted, the entire squad tidied up, swept mud from the floor, collected their water bottles for recycling and even asked for a vacuum to apply the finishing touch.

"We always clean the dressing room wherever we go," manager Danny Cowley told The Sun. "We conceded at Braintree last season -- a terrible goal in a pivotal game for us -- and ended up drawing 1-1 but we still swept up.

"The All Blacks [New Zealand's rugby team] call it 'sweep the decks'. If it's good enough for the All Blacks, it's good enough for us. We always make sure we clean up and leave the changing room as we found it."

If you didn't admire Lincoln City's work ethic before, you do now. Lovely stuff!
