Marseille have signed full-backs Henri Bedimo and Hiroki Sakai, the club announced on Thursday.
A 32-year-old left-back, Bedimo had played for seven other Frenchs clubs, including Lens, Montpellier and Lyon, where he played last season.
Sakai, a 26-year-old right-back, began his career at Kashiwa Reysol before moving to Hannover in 2012. The Japan international has played 27 times for his country thus far.

Monaco lost regular left-back, France under-21 international Banjamin Mendy, to Monaco last week.
Marseille finished a disappointing 13th place in Ligue 1 last season, managing just 48 points.
