Santos forward Gabriel "Gabigol" Barbosa would be open to joining Inter Milan or Juventus, according to the player's agent.
The two Serie A rivals have been linked with the Brazil forward, who is currently representing his country at the Olympic Games, and his agent Wagner Ribeiro can see a future for him in Italy.
"There has been contact with Inter for Gabigol, but we are waiting for official offers," he told Calciomercato.com. "The player's currently focusing on the Olympics and then we'll evaluate. Juventus are another big club who would be welcome.
"Gabigol's destiny has been Europe for many years now so let's see what happens."
Inter's sporting director Piero Ausilio is reported to be on his way to Brazil to present an offer to Gabigol's current club Santos, whose president Modesto Roma told ESPN no firm offer has yet arrived from Inter, although he did not deny there being an offer on the table already from Juve.
"I've not received anything yet [from Inter]," he said.
The 19-year-old has scored five goals in 10 Brazilian Serie A games this season.
