The Puskas Award shortlist for 2017 may have only been revealed last week, but Lobos midfielder Amaury Escoto has already filed a very strong contender for 2018.
With the scoreline locked at 1-1 going into the latter stages, Escoto popped up with an 85th-minute winner for Lobos over Chivas Guadalajara.
It's perhaps also worth mentioning that the goal just so happened to be an insanely spectacular, acrobatic overhead kick from the edge of the 18-yard box.

Wow.
Lobos coach Rafael Puente is so adamant that Escoto's golazo is worthy of winning FIFA's top award that he has already bestowed his match-winning player with a new middle name.
"I have already nicknamed him Amaury 'Puskas' Escoto, because I am sure his going to be nominated among the top goals," Puente told reporters after the match.
"It is a magnificent goal. I watched him get ready to set it up, he makes it look so easy and when it went in I wanted to go onto the pitch and celebrate with him."
You can hardly blame the man. Astonishing technique.
