Former Italy international Alessandro Matri has completed his move to Sassuolo from AC Milan, according to the club's website.
Matri, who turns 32 later this week underwent his medical on Tuesday and will be presented to the press in the coming days.
His contract with Milan was due to expire at the end of the 2016-17 season, and the veteran striker chose to leave for his 10th club of his career.
Some of his other previous clubs include Juventus, Cagliari, Genoa, Fiorentina and Lazio.
