The agent for Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva has moved to clarify that no talks have been held with Juventus over a possible Serie A return for his client.
Silva, 32, is under contract until the end of this season, though a clause means an automatic one-year extension will be triggered should PSG, who have won the French title in each of the last four years, qualify for next season's Champions League by finishing in Ligue 1's top two this term.
However, rumours surfaced in October that the Brazilian could be headed for a return to Italy, with Juventus a possible destination.
Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb, Paulo Tonietto said: "It's only normal that a player like Thiago is wanted by many clubs, but I have not talked to Juventus. I did register interest from other clubs, ones that were outside of Italy.
"So far we haven't discussed a contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain. We'll talk about it in December and evaluate together whether we should renew or look around at other options.
"So much depends on the offer PSG put forward."
Manager Unai Emery said he wasn't worried over Silva's future, saying such links are normal with a player and club the stature of Silva and PSG.
"The [contractual] situation of players is the club's responsibility, not mine. Rumours like this are normal. A club like PSG gets linked with a lot of transfer targets," Emery said.
Silva is currently on international duty with Brazil and will return to action with PSG in Ligue 1 versus Nantes on Nov. 19.
