Swansea boss Bob Bradley confirms interest in Tottenham's Tom Carroll

Swansea City boss Bob Bradley has confirmed an interest in signing Tottenham Hotspur's Tom Carroll in January.

Carroll, 24, signed a new deal until 2019 in September, but he has started just twice for Spurs this season -- both in the EFL Cup -- and played one minute in the Premier League.

The emergence of Harry Winks has forced Carroll further down the pecking order and he featured for the club's under-23 team on Monday.

Carroll spent the 2014-15 season on loan at Swansea and Bradley is interested in bringing the former England under-21 international back to South Wales.

"Tom is a player who everyone here knows," Bradley said. "He's been around in the past, he's certainly a good footballer and he's a player who has been discussed.

"Every player that appears on the table also then gets looked at in comparison to with other players, guys bring different pluses. What Tom brings as a footballer is he is technically sharp, a good passer, and those are qualities a team can use.

"We just have to look at how those attributes compare with other players who pop up."
