Watford have completed the signing of forward Mauro Zarate from Fiorentina on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
Zarate, 29, returns to the Premier League, having previously played for West Ham, Queens Park Rangers and Birmingham City.
The Argentine spent a year at Fiorentina, having joined from West Ham in January 2016, and has moved on after starting just one Serie A game for the Italian club this season.

"The Hornets are delighted to announce the permanent signing of Argentine forward Mauro Zarate," a Watford statement read.
Zarate, who started his career with Velez Sarsfield, will wear the No. 20 shirt for Watford.
The forward becomes Watford's second signing of the month following the arrival of Everton midfielder Tom Cleverley on loan, while the Hornets are also currently weighing up a move for Olympiakos midfielder Luka Milivojevic, sources have told ESPN FC.
