Ryan Giggs has refused to rule out the prospect of former Manchester United team-mate Paul Scholes joining his Wales coaching team.
Giggs is yet to confirm his backroom staff after signing a four-year contract to take over from Chris Coleman as Wales boss.
Scholes, who served as assistant when Giggs took charge of United for four games in 2014, has been linked with the job. And Giggs has hinted that they are already in discussions.
"I speak to Scholesy all the time. I saw him on Saturday at Salford City," he told the Mirror.
"But there are no names who are concrete. I am talking to lots of people and I do not want to mention individuals. I obviously know Scholesy really well. We will see what happens."
Giggs attended the League of Nations draw on Wednesday as his first engagement as Wales manager. He saw his team draw Republic of Ireland and Denmark in League B.
His first game in charge will be a friendly against China in Nanning on March 22. It leaves Giggs with nearly two months to pick his staff, although the 44-year-old is hopeful it will be sooner rather than later.
He added: "Hopefully in the next few weeks, we will have the appointments sorted. It is a balance. A balance about getting experience, fresh ideas - someone who can improve the Welsh team.
"It is my first job [in management], so if you have someone with experience, it is a bonus. We are getting there. Nothing concrete at the moment."
