Crystal Palace midfielder Jordon Mutch is in talks with Vancouver Whitecaps over a move to Major League Soccer, sources close to the player have told ESPN FC.
Mutch's future at Palace has been the subject of speculation for some time with the midfielder not figuring in first-team plans this season.
The 26-year-old has not made a single appearance for Roy Hodgson's side this season and has only featured three times on the bench.
Sources said talks are at an advanced stage between Mutch and Vancouver, with the Whitecaps confident of finalising a move for the midfielder soon.
Mutch, who joined Palace from Queens Park Rangers in January 2015, spent the second half of last season out on loan at Reading, but returned to the club last summer.
The former England under-21 international was linked with a move to Bolton Wanderers on loan on transfer deadline day, but the deal fell through.
Mutch appears surplus to requirements at Palace and Vancouver Whitecaps are ready to offer him an escape route from the club in a bid to get his career back on track.
